Born and raised in the South, Renny’s earliest inspirations came from gracious homes, layered interiors, and the traditions of hospitality that shaped her childhood. Her mother, an interior designer, taught her the art of storytelling through space: creating rooms — and later events — where every gathering felt like coming home.

Her love of hosting deepened during culinary school, where she studied the art of hospitality and discovered the craft of creating experiences that linger long after the last course. Years working in catering refined her understanding of logistics — building teams, orchestrating service, and ensuring events felt effortless for guests.

After gaining early experience in the corporate world, Renny launched Bliss Events in 2000, just as she welcomed her first child — building a
name synonymous with thoughtful design, masterful planning, and deeply personal celebrations.

Today, Renny’s perspective is shaped by a lifetime of layered influences — the elegance of Southern gatherings, where monogrammed linens and thoughtful gestures turn hospitality into memory; a love for architecture and textures that whisper stories of time and place; an admiration for organic beauty where simplicity feels artful; and the easy sophistication of the Midwest, where celebrations feel personal, welcoming, and enduring.
